Met Liefde (Commission)

This mixed media piece was commissioned by the grandparents of a little girl. She was their first grandchild. The grandparents were originally from South Africa and had moved to New Orleans. They gave me the stamps and the image of the tree to incorporate into the composition. They requested a drawing of a dragonfly and also supplied the text.  This was a joy to create - a celebration of a new life.
